Pedestrian Hospitalized after Crash on Airport Drive near Roberts Lane
OILDALE, CA (November 20, 2019) – A person suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Airport Drive, Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 9:33 AM. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck a pedestrian at Airport Drive and Roberts Lane.
Emergency responders rushed the pedestrian to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Initial reports identified the victim as a crossing guard. However, Beardsley School District claimed that none of their crossing guards were hit.
CHP officials continue to investigate the collision. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
